2.e)
3.d)
4.e)
5.a)

6.c)
Area of triangle = 1/2 x base x height
Area = 1/2 x 18 x 10
Total cost = Area x cost per sq.metre = 1/2 x 18 x 10 x 10.5 = Rs 945

7.e)
Volume of the cube = 16 x 12 x 12 x 6
Cube root of the volume of the cube, is the side of the cube.
Hence, side = (16 x 12 x 12 x 6)^1/3 = 24 cm

8.a)
Lateral surface area = 2 x 22/7 x r x h
= 2 x 22/7 x 28 x 2.8 = 492.8 cm^2

9.d)
Let the share of first, second, third and fourth son be A, B, C and D respectively.
A + B + C + D = 198000
2A = 3B; 4B = 3C; 5C = 4D
A = 9C/8, B = 3C/4. D = 5C/4
9C/8 + 3C/4 + C + 5C/4 = 198000
Solving, we get C = 48,000

10.e)
Total CP of 300 bananas = 300/20 X 30 = 450
Remaining bananas = 300 - 80 = 220
SP of  220 bananas = 250 + 100 x 3.5 = 600
Profit = 600 - 450 = 150
Profit % = 150/450 x 100 = 33 1/3%
