1. (e) principal = (100*4800)/(100+20) = 4000
Again, 4000 = (100*16000)/(100+t1) =>  t1 = 75 years.

2. (b) CI = 16000 (1 + 5/100) (1 + 10/100) (1 + 25/100) - 16000 = 7100.

4. (a) Let, distance = x km
x/(16-5) - x/(16+5) = 10
=> x = 231 km.
