NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS IN INDIA
In India currently 21 nuclear power plant units are operational at 7 sites with total production capacity of 5780 MWe witch is 12th highest production in world by a country(in 2015) .NPCIL is responsible for design, construction, commissioning and operation of nuclear power reactors,it is a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE),Government of India.List of all operational nuclear power plants given below --
