Answers:

3. (c) Total expenses on Thursday for buying D type of vegetables = 10 * 15.50 = Rs.155
Total expenses on Sunday for buying C type of vegetables = 7 * 21 = Rs.147
Reqd % = 155/147 * 100 = 105% (approx.)

4. (d) Expense on B type of vegetable on saturday = 10 * 15.50 = Rs.155 = Expense on D type of vegetables on Thursday.

5. (c) Reqd. ratio = 21 : 1.

6. (e) Required difference = 680 - 258 = 422.
